MY SABOTEUR CHECK

Questions worth asking.

Understand quiz scoring, privacy, ties, independence, limits and when to seek support. Twelve complete answers before you begin.

Is this a mental-health assessment?

No. My Saboteur Check is an educational self-reflection activity. It does not diagnose a condition, evaluate mental-health risk, or replace a qualified professional. The categories are editorial labels for examples of behavior, not clinical personality types. If you need advice about symptoms or distress, consult a suitable healthcare or mental-health professional.

What does the quiz measure?

It records which of eight descriptions you choose most often across eight everyday situations. Your choices are compared only within your own answers. The quiz does not measure unconscious processes, intelligence, mental fitness, or how you compare with a population. A result is a reading suggestion about a pattern you may want to examine.

How is the score calculated?

Each of the eight questions presents all eight patterns in the same order. Select the statement closest to your usual response, or skip the question if none fits. Each selected statement adds one point to its corresponding category. The category with the most points is highlighted. Equal top scores are shown together, rather than resolved by a hidden rule.

What happens if I skip a question or every question?

A skipped question adds no points. The result explains how many questions you answered, so you can interpret a short response set cautiously. If you skip every question, no category is assigned; you are invited to browse the guides instead. Skipping is preferable to choosing an inaccurate statement just to complete the quiz.

Is the quiz scientifically validated?

No. The questions and scoring are an original editorial exercise, not a psychometrically validated instrument. There are no established reliability figures, clinical thresholds, or population norms for this quiz. The sources in our articles concern broader topics such as procrastination and assertiveness; they do not validate our categories or the quiz.

How long does it take and does it cost anything?

Most readers can complete the eight questions in roughly two to five minutes, depending on how carefully they reflect. There is no time limit, fee, account requirement, or email gate. The archetype guides and articles are also free to read. You can stop at any point and browse without completing the activity.

Are my answers saved or sent to anyone?

The quiz calculates answers in memory in your browser. We do not send your answers, scores, or result to the contact database, an analytics service, or an advertising service. Refreshing the page resets the activity. Ordinary hosting services may process technical request information; see the privacy policy for the distinction between site requests and quiz responses.

Can I get more than one result?

Yes. Equal highest scores produce several highlighted patterns, and all category counts are displayed. Even when one category leads, other guides may fit different circumstances. Work, home, health, and recent stress can change how you answer. Do not treat a one-point difference as a precise psychological finding or a permanent identity.

Is this affiliated with Positive Intelligence?

No. My Saboteur Check is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official assessment of Positive Intelligence, Shirzad Chamine, or another third-party program or trademark. Some ordinary terms overlap with other frameworks. The wording and activities here are newly written for this site and should not be represented as those programs’ material.

What should I do after reading a result?

Select one example that actually fits, write down a recent situation, and choose a small, safe experiment from the relevant guide. Observe what happens without demanding a particular outcome. If the guide does not fit, disregard it. The results-explained page discusses ties, limitations, and next steps in more detail. You do not need to work through every guide.

When should I seek professional help?

Consider qualified support if distress persists, symptoms are severe, or sleep, work, relationships, or everyday functioning are affected. A quiz result is not a threshold for care. If you are in immediate danger or at risk of harming yourself, contact local emergency services or a crisis service in your country. A contact message to this website is not an urgent-care channel.

Who wrote the site, and how can I report a concern?

The owner has not yet supplied a verified public name, background, or photograph. The About page clearly identifies that editorial placeholder; we do not claim professional credentials. Use the contact form to report an error, inaccessible content, or a misleading passage. Please include the page URL and the specific concern, and avoid sending sensitive clinical information.
